Description
Buckwheat seed is a summer annual and can be used as a green manure crop. Quickly killed by frost, buckwheat is a fast germinating seed that establishes a lot of plant material very quickly. Buckwheat seed is suitable to plant in any soil type.

- Deteriorated and depleted soils benefit most from this plowdown.
- Establishment Rate: Establish in spring or summer after all possible frost is past.
