“Look at the crude protein (21.5% from his feed analysis). This was made from Elk Mound Seed’s 4010 Peas/Barley mix. Large 3’x3’ bales! Just wished I had more of them! Corn is hanging in there.”

Robert W. (Marshfield, WI)

“Custom corn chopper crew says this is the best corn they’ve seen thus far.”

Darren O. (Mountain, ND)

“I was extremely impressed with EMS 1040. It was a showy hybrid from emergence to finish and had some very good staygreen towards the end. The ear size was great and it had the deepest kernels of any hybrid on my farm. EMS 1040 averaged 247 bushels to the acre on my farm this year.”

Andy H. (Stockton, IL)

“I’ve been doing business with Elk Mound Seed for the past 20 years. They furnish me seed corn, alfalfa and forage crops as far as peas and triticale and peas . Very happy with the product and very consistent. They are always there to answer my questions and they are very helpful.”

Jeff P. (Elk Mound, WI)

“My Pilgrim 9100-3000GT averaged 205 bu/acre this past year!”

Gregg J. (Menomonie, WI)

“Our Pilgrim 9100-3000GT looks as good as any corn on our farm. It appears to have great plant health and I can’t wait to see what the yield monitor on the combine says.”

Rick D. (Cadott, WI)

“The Pilgrim 9100 GT/CB/LL was the best looking corn on my farm.”

Russel B. (Prairie Farm, WI)

“I was very impressed with the Hazlet rye. I saw a 10-15 bushel yield bump per acre compared to VNS rye. Additionally, the standability was much better.”

Doug C. (Chippewa Falls, WI)

“I used 9315, it did very well I also planted 9601 May 12, Harvested Nov 21 @ 20%, 185 BPA Dry. That is the best corn I ever grew. This was all despite a cold, wet (2X normal rain June & July) year.”

Thane B. (Locke, NY)

“I’ve always been very happy with the quality of the seed and the results. The conventional hybrids have been working out very well. The EMS 9100 and EMS 9601 have been very consistent yielders for us.”

Tom B. (Roberts, WI)

“Chippewa Valley Technical College grows around 250 acres of crops each year as part of our Agriculture Programming. CVTC can always count on Elk Mound seed to help assist us with educational programming, cover crop and row crop seed selection, and other agronomic issues as they arise. They have been instrumental in helping us organize our plot each year. I would like to thank Elk Mound Seeds for all that they do for us.”

Mark D. (Chippewa Valley Technical College)

“EMS 8551O had good emergence, great stalks, flex ears, and very nice cobs. It is some of the best corn my farm has seen in a few years”

Lavern Z (Withee, WI)

“Taken in New York on the Vermont border, the EMS 8599 height was great. ‘The ears were over our daughters head and she’s four feet tall.’”

Carmen R. (Eagle Bridge, NY)

“I purchased a bag of the Pollinator Mixture from Elk Mound Seed this February at a garden conference. Chad provided me with information about planting. My husband and I planted the seed in March just before a snow storm on an adjacent empty lot. We also mixed in some other annual flower seeds we had around. And then we waited. I kept watching and finally in late spring I recognized the leaves of the lupine and I knew that something was going to come up. And it did. All spring, summer and fall I kept discovering new flowers in our meadow. I have never had so much fun gardening. Even though the soil was very poor we had very good germination rate with this pollinator mix. We had a number of the perennial plants that bloomed in the first year. We can’t wait to see what it look like in year two. We did do some weeding to give the new plants a chance, but it was often when I was weeding that I would discover some of the new plants. The meadow attracted native bees, honey bees, birds, butterflies all summer and fall. Its the end of October and I still have lots of flowers blooming and pollinators enjoying the result.”

"I live in Northern MN nestled up near the Canadian border. Needless to say, placing us in hockey country also provides some challenges when it comes to food plots and maximizing our opportunities for wildlife. As an owner of 700+ acres of private land and with three passionate hunting daughters, I take my food plot business serious so with that in mind, I wanted to take a moment and thank you for a great web site and product offering. It's nice to see someone offer services that are uncomplicated, not over engineered, and the tutorials that go with buying your product. I just ordered for the first time (about a week ago) and before planting that order, I have already placed another order. Looking forward to getting your goodies in the dirt and seeing how my efforts and your expertise reward my daughters this fall. Thanks again for a great product! "

"Here is some pictures of my forage radish plot. As you can see the deer love them. I had some radishes over 12" long and 2" in diameter."

"The pic of him alive is when he was in the clover blend plot a week earlier. When we bought the property there were no plots on it at all, we are now at six and working on the seventh totaling about eight acres. The number of deer, turkey, and bear frequenting the property has skyrocketed!"

"I have used monsterbuck plot seed last 3 years with great results. Increased herd staying on property along with bigger, better bucks. Even with a late planted plot results were awesome. One evening of rut and one of my small plots brought 33 deer(17 bucks) not to mention one of several shooters i've been looking for. This 15 point bruiser was the last to step in the plot, for the last time. Your turnips are the best i have planted. Ohio deer love it (its like deer candy). Thanks for great products!"

"I would like to say that this year (2011) I only used Monster Buck on my plots. This is the first time I have tried these seeds. I planted in mid September and now all I can say is WOW!!!!. My food plots have never looked so good. I have already seen a 200% improvement in deer activity in these food plots. MonsterBuck Food Plots has definitely got my business from now on."

"I use your seed for a small food plot I have here in extreme northern Minnesota, (hour north of Duluth). I mostly use your clover. After getting the ground ready and broadcasting the clover it only took a couple of days and it was all coming up fast. I had deer and grouse in there all summer and into the fall. I knew I had this large 8 pointer feeding in my food plot because of the trail cam pictures I have of him, but he only came out at night. One morning just a few days before the season closed he stepped out and started feeding in the food plot. 75 yard shot and it was over. Thank you for the great seed, it works!"

"I hunt a small 5 acre lot surrounded by mature hard woods and agricultural fields. I needed something to draw the deer onto and through my property. I have planted your pasture mix for the last 2 years and have not been disappointed. They have now worn numerous trails through my "postage stamp" to catch a quick (and apparently delicious) bite while passing through. I have actually created a nice staging area putting myself in a successful situation to harvest one or more deer each season. Thanks!"
