Minnesota 13 (MN13) is an open-pollinated seed corn variety that was originated by the University of Minnesota during the 1880s. Many of todays hybrid varieties have lineage that can be traced back to MN13. Minnesota 13 is a true "dent" variety that does not have flinty grain that many other open pollinated varieties tend to exhibit.
